Orbital Welding Equipment
Short description
Orbital Welding Machine
Polysoude orbital TIG welding machines are high‑precision automatic systems for tube and pipe welding, designed to deliver consistent, defect‑free welds with minimal heat input and maximum repeatability in demanding industrial applications.
Medium description (general product description)Polysoude orbital welding machines are advanced TIG orbital systems designed for high‑quality tube and pipe welding in industries such as pharmaceutical, food, power, oil & gas and fabrication. A typical installation consists of a programmable power source (Smart Welding Station), orbital welding head and wire feeder, giving full control over welding current, arc voltage, rotation speed and wire feed.
These machines offer fully automatic welding programs, real‑time monitoring of weld parameters and data recording, which help achieve repeatable, oxidation‑free welds with less than 1% defect rate. With closed‑loop control, integrated cooling and Industry 4.0 connectivity, Polysoude orbital systems ensure stable arc, controlled heat input and long‑term reliability even in tough site conditions. Ideal for critical tube‑to‑tube, tube‑to‑pipe and pipe‑to‑pipe joints where weld quality and cleanliness are very important.
Long description (detailed for “Product Description” box)Polysoude orbital welding machines are premium European orbital TIG (GTAW) solutions designed for fully automatic welding of tubes and pipes with or without filler wire. Each system is built around a Smart Welding Station power source with programmable control, paired with a wide range of open and closed‑chamber orbital weld heads to suit different diameters and wall thicknesses. The power source integrates inverter technology, a cooling circuit, data acquisition and an operator‑friendly interface so that welding programs can be created, stored and repeated with the same quality every time. polysoude+3
Modern Polysoude orbital machines continuously monitor and control key parameters like welding current, arc voltage, rotation speed and wire feed, ensuring a very stable arc and controlled heat input to protect material properties. This results in smooth, oxidation‑free, narrow‑bead welds that meet stringent international standards required in high‑purity and high‑pressure applications. Rugged construction, heavy‑duty cooling and automatic welding head recognition make them suitable both for workshop use and demanding on‑site work.
Typical applications include tube‑to‑tube and tube‑to‑pipe joints in power plants, oil & gas pipelines, chemical and pharmaceutical plants, food and beverage process lines, boiler and heat‑exchanger fabrication and other critical process piping. Polysoude’s Industry 4.0‑ready architecture also allows easy integration into automated production lines and quality systems, with full weld data logging for documentation and traceability.

Rogue ET 201iP
The Rogue ET 201iP is a robust and durable Inverter power source with exceptional arc characteristics, both in TIG and MMA welding processes. The High frequency TIG start ensures you do not experience failure on ignition. The advanced TIG controls including gas pre-flow, start current, ramp up time, ramp down time, finish current and post flow helps deliver superior welding quality. TIG & MMA Pulse functionality improves heat input control, minimizes distortion of thin materials and helps reduce spatter for higher quality welds. The High Frequency TIG start also prevents contamination of the weld surface and improves weld quality. The machine is generator compliant and suitable for use with generators (7kW recommended). It has a robust design with an IP23S rating for fabrication shop or site application. It includes a Voltage Reduction Device (VRD) to increase safety at the workplace, and has an option for a current-adjusting foot pedal.
